Aliya Karim

Aliya Karim is a social media expert and storyteller with her hands in both the journalism and communication worlds. Her decade-long career spans audience engagement and distribution, digital strategy, and writing and production.

She most recently served as Director of Social Media at NowThis, a digital media company. Aliya previously worked for Vox Media and World Food Program USA, and has consulted multiple organizations on social media and web content.

She graduated from The George Washington University with an M.A. in Media and Public Affairs and a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication.
